Program Overview

Our Costa Rica Conservation Programs take place in the small coastal community of Nosara in the Nicoya Peninsula.

Located on the northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, this rugged, remote peninsula is gaining a global reputation as a leader in ecotourism. Not surprising, given the region’s scenery – arguably the best in Costa Rica – and a strong focus on wellbeing. This has led to an influx of travellers looking to connect with nature and embrace the ‘Pura Vida’ lifestyle. In particular, Nosara is world-renowned for its sweeping beaches, world-class beginner surf breaks and sea turtles.

We work with local organizations aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, giving you the opportunity to make a direct impact in Nosara. Plus, you’ll gain the skills necessary to launch an international career in sustainable development. It’s the conservation internship opportunity of a lifetime!
