To start your Sydney working holiday adventure, you’ll be picked up from the airport and taken to your pre-arranged accommodation where you’ll get to meet our local team and fellow travellers. You’ve finally arrived for your Sydney working holiday, and what better way to start than with a jam-packed week of adventures Down Under…
Get picked up at the airport and head to your accommodation where you can take some time to recover from jet-lag. Your hostel has the best views in town; grab a drink and watch sunset over Sydney Harbour before grabbing a bite to eat.
Today's the day you meet your guide and other travellers you'll be doing your Sydney adventure with! We'll get the life admin out of the way (tax, banking, sim card etc.) before exploring the city by foot. In the evening, we'll head out to one of Sydney's most iconic venues for dinner with your new travel family.
You will visit Sydney’s famous cliff-top coastline and walk from Coogee to Bondi beach. Watch the sunset in Bondi Beach or return to the city and continue to explore the night life and social scene in the Harbour City. Your group leader will be sure to give a number of suggestions in and around town to make sure you get to see the very best side of Sydney!
The true blue Aussie tradition, ‘catching a wave’ at our morning surf lesson. Our Surf Guides will teach you the ins and outs of surfing with ocean safety, surfing techniques, warm-up, and time in the water. After a day at the beach, we’ll get dressed up for a fun night on the town! Meet the group at one of our favourite party bars before starting our Sydney Pub Crawl, with a couple of welcome drinks along the way.
You can’t come to Sydney and not visit the Blue Mountains! This morning, you’ll escape the city and travel to the Blue Mountains National Park, a short drive from Sydney. Enjoy hiking, visit waterfalls, spot wild kangaroos, and take in some of the Bluey’s spectacular views!
Today we will jump on our very own Catamaran for a cruise on Sydney Harbour. We will spend the day cruising, swimming, and chilling on Sydney Harbour and enjoy our first Aussie BBQ on deck.
You will attend a job search seminar to learn lots of tips and tricks about job search in Australia. Our team will make sure you’ve got everything sorted for living and working in Australia, and we’ll get you registered with our job program to connect you to our wide network of employers. Once you've got the life admin out of the way, celebrate with a night out in the city with your new travel mates!
This morning your first week down under comes to an end. The itinerary is over, but your adventure continues. You will have access to our team, mail holding, job guidance and more for your entire time down under.

Starts every second Sunday of the year! The program start your first morning so we recommend arriving on Saturday or earlier. We’ll pick you up at the airport no matter what day you arrive and we can book you in for extra nights of accommodation.

The Adventure Program offers 4 extra days of fun and 3 extra nights of accommodation!
It’s perfect for those who want a more immersive experience exploring Sydney and its surrounding gems. Highlights include a road trip to the whitest beach in the world, a rooftop BBQ, and dolphin spotting. While you’re enjoying these adventures, you’ll still have access to our in-country team to help you get set up for work in Australia. This means you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time exploring and making connections.
Yes! The Adventure Program runs year-round, giving you complete flexibility to choose your start date.
During the Australian summer (September–March), there are typically 5–6 tour dates available each month, while in the off-peak season, this drops to 2–3 dates. However, we recommend securing your spot in the program before booking flights. Make sure your Australia Working Holiday Visa is approved first to avoid any complications.
The sooner, the better! The first step in our process is guiding you through securing your Working Holiday Visa for Australia. By booking early, you’ll give yourself plenty of time to prepare and maximize your pre-departure support.
