Are you a Canadian student currently studying Hospitality, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Hotel and Restaurant Management? Have you dreamed of pursuing a global career where you can travel the world? If yes, then we have exciting news for you! Stepabroad has recently launched a new resort hotel job program for Canadian students studying hospitality or a related program.
Participants of our program will gain work experience at a globally-recognized five-star hotel resort in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing tourism destinations: Vietnam!
Positions are for a duration of 3 to 4 months with three start dates per year in January, May, and September.
This program gives Canadian hospitality students the opportunity to gain work experience at a prestigious resort hotel in a highly sought after tourism destination. Instead of getting a hotel job in your own city, this opportunity allows you to gain truly unique international experience for your resume and develop international connections that could result in more opportunities in the hotel industry in the future. In addition, you can explore the world, and experience living in a beautiful destination. Imagine spending your days off relaxing on white-sand beaches, wandering through markets, sipping delicious Vietnamese coffee and admiring intricate details of ancient pagodas. It’s all possible with Stepabroad!
Canadian students can choose from one of two beautiful destinations in Vietnam to complete the resort hospitality co-op job program. The first destination is on the dazzling palm tree-lined tropical island of PhĂº Quốc. The second destination is in the colourful UNESCO World Heritage townsite of Há»™i An. Read on to learn more about each place.
Located in the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Thailand, PhĂº Quốc sits off the coast of Cambodia in a district of 28 islands. It is a nature lover’s paradise with hiking trails in PhĂº Quốc National Park and kayaking and snorkeling in the crystal waters with sea turtles. With over 150km of coastline there is endless opportunity to relax on one of the island’s 20 unspoiled beaches! End the day enjoying the ocean breeze under the palms by watching the sunset over the ocean at one of the island’s beach bars.
Hội An is an ancient riverside town where bright yellow merchant houses line the promenade with endless restaurants, bars, and shops. Fuel up on street barbeque and steaming bowls of pho before exploring the canal-lined streets of the old town by bike or on foot. Hội An is ideally located about halfway up the coast of Vietnam making nearby attractions a quick weekend trip away. Visit the white sand beaches and Marble Mountains in Da Nang or the impressive citadel in the former imperial capital of Huế while based in Hội An.

In addition to these services, you will also receive monthly spending money for personal expenses or weekend trips around Vietnam.
