FAQs

Do I need to speak Spanish to do this program?

Not at all! We have a variety of levels available to suit everyone from complete beginner onwards. Everyone has to start somewhere, and our language school classes are the perfect place to begin!

Which city should I choose?

Whichever city you would like to visit first! Just because you choose one city to start your trip in doesn’t mean you have to stay there for the full year, so why not explore all three? Madrid is the capital of Spain and one of the busiest cities in the country. With a large population of both Spanish and international residents, this city has a rich history and is home to many museums and musicals. Authentic Spanish food is easy to find, and prices tend to be reasonable here. Meanwhile, Barcelona is a diverse and cosmopolitan city that is popular with tourists. It is home to several beaches and is within driving distance of the stunning Costa Brava and a few historic UNESCO-protected monuments. For stunning Gothic architecture and the home of paella, Valencia is the place to be. This is a very popular University city, with many young locals living there. Finally, Malaga has an amazing Arts scene, and was the birthplace of Pablo Picasso! With beautiful beaches right on your doorstep, this is the perfect base for exploring the Costa del Sol.

How many hours of language instruction do I get?

Our program fee includes 40 hours of small group language lessons over the course of two weeks. However, the student accommodation and other facilities provide the perfect opportunity for you and your classmates to continue practicing outside of class! Additional weeks of class can also be arranged if desired.
