Start your Melbourne Working Holiday adventure with a bang! In addition to all the support included in our Australia Working Holiday Send-Off Program, you will be picked up from the airport, have seven nights of accommodation provided, and head out of town to explore the coastline. Enjoy a jam-packed week full of fun as you participate in tons of adventures with fellow travellers.
Please do not book your flight until you have paid for your program and secured your program start date. Your travel coordinator will notify you when it is time to do so.

From the moment you land in Melbourne, youāre in good hands with a personal airport pick-up to take you to your pre-arranged accommodation. Catch up on sleep or relax and meet new people while you enjoy the city views from the rooftop patio.
After setting up your bank account, phone, and tax number, you'll venture out on a fun guided tour to explore trendy Melbourne. Learn about the caffeine capital of the world, discover hidden laneways and view mind-blowing street art. End the day with a group dinner in one of Australiaās most iconic neighbourhoods (dinner included).
Spend the morning with our local team who will make sure youāve got everything sorted for living and working in Australia, and weāll get you registered with our job program to connect you to our wide network of employers. This afternoon you will explore more of the famous beachside hotspot - St Kilda!
Start the day with an Aussie local activity - stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) at the iconic St.Kilda Beach. The SUP instructors will have you paddling effectively in a short period of time, and ensure you leave with adequate knowledge to paddle on your own for your time down under. The afternoon is free to continue exploring before the group gets back together this evening to explore Melbournes Nightlife! We will visit iconic venues and Australiaās best social scene!
After a fun night out exploring Melbournes famous nightlife, we will get together for lunch in the famous Botanical Gardens. This afternoon we have a free day to explore the Melbourne local social scene.
Exhilarate your senses with a full-day visit a coastal oasis known as the Peninsula Hot Springs, only 90 mins from Melbourne. An idyllic escape for some much needed relaxation and thermal bathing with over 50 globally-inspired bathing experiences within the one Bath House. Once youāre completely restored, weāll head to discover some of the Mornington Peninsulaās other iconic locations. Weāll ascend to the areaās highest point at Arthurs Seat for amazing views!
Today we explore the Great Otway National Park and the artistic beachside villages of Apollo Bay and Lorne. We will stop for lunch where we can watch Aussie surfers in action at famed beaches such as Bells Beach and Torquay. And of course there will be photo opportunities at the famous Twelve Apostles. At our group farewell, we celebrate new friendships and your upcoming time in Australia over goodbye drinks and some snacks.
This morning your first week down under comes to an end. The itinerary is over but your adventure continues. You will have access to our team, mail holding, job guidance and more for your entire time down under.
